"They're only truly great who are truly good "

When people are only truly great who are truly good means that those people only
good people when they do great stuff and by what i mean they are basically telling the most true and that makes them look like a truly good. And an example for this is if i do something good i say that makes me look like a truly good person in that case i as well must do the right things ,to not make me look like a bad person. So others wouldn't say bad things about me or what i do in that situation so that what makes me the only truly great who are truly good.
