This quote means that to not sacrifice for what you want or wished for now but just write it down so then you can see it often. As well it can mean that never do anything or nothing bad in your life because it can stay there forever it can probably stay in your mind and start thinking of what you have done wrong. Now you can also write down what you want and see often, you can either write down  , that you want to be happy , be a better person in life, help others , obey your parents, help others in their needs, always be caring, never be mean to others because when you going to  need help as well they are going to be mean so always be nice to others and never disrespect others that you don't no yet. Also do the right things never be a fool and start doing wrong things that can affect your life forever. Always try being a A student not a F student always try your best to make parents proud of all the effort you putting in . If your a F student don't be down and always try your best to get good grades and get better than an F or an D make your parents proud and then they figure out that you've changed and forgot about the f student and that now you have improved so much just to make your  parents proud. And make a better person out of yourself like i do , i want to be a better person in life that can make their parents proud of what i have become in the future.
